1. A narrow adult community
Private Tonight’s Canada pilot is limited to adults and lawful, non-sexual massage, dinner or event company, social companionship, dating and personal classifieds. It is not a marketplace for paid sexual services.
Private Tonight has zero tolerance for minors, exploitation, trafficking, coercion, non-consensual content, unauthorised third-party listings or control of another person through force, threat, fraud, dependency or abuse of vulnerability.
2. Severe signals and immediate holds
- A person may be under 18 or their adult age cannot be established.
- Force, threats, surveillance, debt pressure, withheld documents, third-party control, inability to stop or leave, or payment controlled by someone else.
- The account owner is not the listed provider or does not control the identity, media or contact route.
- An explicit or coded paid sexual-service offer, act menu, sexual rate, ‘extras’ or moderation-evasion pattern.
- Stolen or non-consensual media, impersonation, doxxing, fraud, violence or a credible acute safety threat.
3. What Private Tonight may do
Private Tonight may place content on hold, request focused evidence, reject or remove a listing, restrict media, apply a policy strike, suspend an account, preserve a minimum safety record or refer a matter where a valid obligation requires it.
Severe safety action does not require a prior strike. Other validated violations may receive a reasoned strike; repeated attempts to re-post or evade a decision can lead to account suspension.
4. Paid placement never buys trust
Adult, identity, ownership and safety review is the same for Free, Basic, Featured and VIP. Payment cannot buy verification, priority in a high-risk review, moderation leniency or protection from removal.
Verification is a point-in-time risk control, not a promise about a person, offline service, qualification, future conduct, legality or personal safety.
5. User safety boundary
- Private Tonight does not book or supervise meetings, set service terms, collect offline-service payment or take a service commission.
- Do not send identity documents, login codes, financial credentials or a precise home address through an unfamiliar contact route.
- Use the report control for a profile, media, sexual-service advertisement, impersonation, coercion, trafficking or minor concern.
- If someone may be in immediate danger or trafficking, use the official Canada.ca help and reporting guidance. A platform notice is not an emergency response.
6. Training, reasons and appeals
Operators must record the signal, interim action, policy basis, final reason, strike effect and appeal state. The reporter’s identity and unnecessary sensitive details must not be shown to the affected provider.
Profile reports enter the protected Canada moderation queue with a reason, action state and audit trail. The existence of that queue is not proof that a particular report was correct or that an emergency service has been contacted.
